About Another Happy Studios
Another Happy Studios is a small collective of friends making podcasts with passion. Whether it’s unpacking pop culture, revisiting beloved shows, or just having a laugh with mates on mic, we aim to keep things fun and heartfelt, without contributing to the toxic discourse that is oh so prevelant these days.
We're a group of people with different voices, vibes, and viewing histories, but with one shared goal: making stuff that’s worth listening to.
Meet Your Hosts
Nathan
Co-FounderNathan has been podcasting since university and is now the Creative Director and Co-Founder of AHS. He's a lifelong Doctor Who fan, accessibility advocate, and firm believer that trial and error is just another word for “experience". He’s spent 10 years as Laurence’s best friend, something he brings up with equal parts pride and regret.
Laurence
Co-FounderConsiderably younger than Nathan and not afraid to bring it up. Co-Founder of AHS and described by some (Nathan) as “wanky,” though he prefers “passionately interested.” He also started podcasting at university, also loves Doctor Who, and also learnt everything the long way. Eventually came to terms with being Nathan’s best friend, but don’t expect him to get soppy about it.
Pierce
HostPierce feels weird writing about himself in third person, but he's just happy to be here! He loves podcasting and hates being bullied by his co-hosts.
Maylina
HostYou might think that this bio's gonna be long and drawn out, but Maylina would hate for the haters to be right. She/Her. Canadian. Podcast.
Ari
HostWrite a bio? I don't want to write a bio man. Just put whatever you want there and if I hate it I’ll quit AHS.
Brian
HostPodcasting since Avatar 2, Brian brings his knowledge of film, TV and all media to discuss on his podcast. He loves conversing about trailers, casting, project announcements & anticipating release dates. Most of all, Brian loves talking about pictures with his co host & good mate David.
David
HostAfter years of both listening to podcasts and watching films, David decided to combine his two passions. Realising it would be difficult to make a film about a podcast, he choose instead to sit down each week and lovingly talk about all things film with his best pal Brian.
